What Next for The DCEU

It's been nearly a week since the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League. Although the movie has been widely received by many this week, Warnermedia chief Ann Sarnoff announced that the Snyderverse won't be continued and there will be no sequels to the Snyder cut.









While fans have decided to use the old ways of hashtags, it might fall on deaf ears this time. So, what is Warner planning for the DCEU?  There is a whole lot of things lined up already - The Suicide Squad being one of those individually slated films and the Shazam sequel, with a reboot of The Batman starring Rob Pattinson (Twillight) and DC has a lot of characters in its rosters which means a lot can still happen but here are the movies we know are currently in the works or are set to be released.


The Suicide Squad :  August 6th 2021

DC decided to get another Marvel director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy),
Margot Robbie, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman all reprise their roles from the previous film with the John Cena, Idris Elba and Dave Dastmalchian joining the anti hero roster as Peace Maker, Bloodsport and Polkerdot man respectively. According to James Gunn it's not a direct sequel to the first installment but it's set in a different time line. It is set to be released on August 6th 2021.

The Batman : 4th March 2022
The Batman is intended to be the beginning of a new reboot of the Dark Knight franchise with Matt Reeves at the helm of it.
Rob Pattinson from Twilight stars as the dark Knight himself with an ensemble cast of Zoe Kravitz, Colin Firth, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano. The Movie sees Batman in his early years of crime fighting. Its date has however been pushed back from this summer to next year due to the Plandemic.

Black Adam : July 29 2022
Cast :  Dwayne Johnson Noah centineo , Pierce Brosnan.
It was announced last week that filming will take place by the beginning of April with a release date . The film will see The titular character take on the Justice Society of America and it's origin story 

The Flash : Nov 4 2022
Cast : Ezra Miller , Kiersey Clermont , Roy Livingstone , Micheal Keaton , Ben Affleck 


The film will take on the The Flashpoint arc story in the comics . Micheal Keaton was casted to play a much more older Batman most likely Thomas Wayne with Ben Affleck Reprising his role as Bruce Wayne . Filming is expected to start this April


Aquaman 2 : December 16 2022
Cast: Jason Maoma, Patrick Wilson , Abdul Yahya Mateen .

Not known is much about the sequel to the smash hit but it's likely to explore the seven kingdoms of Atlantis more .
Shazam : Fury of The Gods : June 2023
Cast : Zachary Levi , Helen Mirren , Asher Angel .



It sees the shazam family take on the Villainess Hesperia which will be played by the delightful Helen Mirren . Director Adam Sandberg is set to return as the director

Incase there are any new updates we will definitely get them updated here . But for now we anticipate this mind movies that are about to be released

  There's a reason the movie's called The Suicide Squad and not Suicide Squad 2. Less of a sequel and more of a desperately needed do-over, this scabrous, side-splitting and surprisingly smart supervillain romp is the definite article.
