Zack Snyder's Justice League Review

Zack Snyder's Justice League

Starring : Calvin Harris , Ben Affleck ,Gal Gadot ,Ray Fisher ,Jason Mamoa ,Ezra Miller ,Ciran Hinds
Run time : 242 mins

About 3 years ago, a box office bomb was released in cinemas; it's name was The Justice League. Originally an envisionment of Zack Snyder, some bad administration work caused Warner Bros a lot of money incase you didn't know Justice League is the highest budgeted movie of all time. So, it  didn't go down well with the studio that its biggest movie didn't go so big.
The Snyder Cut as it is called was allowed for a redemption for the Studio and Film itself. Hence, changes to the Theatrical cut or is itjust the same blank movie that it was? Let's find out!

The Movie starts with a flashback to the events that took place in Batman vs Superman in which he dies at the hands of doomsday.
This version centers it's story more on hope, the world has lost its greatest protector and is open to the threat of the unknown . Batman, with the hope given to him sets out to recruit people with special talents. The Snyder's cut is truly a better upgrade to the Theatrical cut, the story has more depth and explains everything unlike the former which felt rushed. It shows the more human side of these heroes, it gives a more definite reason why they are out saving the world when they could die. Having superpowers is great but there has to be a reason you are using them for good.

Character wise I felt Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller had the standout performances in the movie playing Cyborg and the Flash. In the Theatrical cut Cyborg had a limited story and The Flash was all over the place literally. As for Wonderwoman she reminded us she is still the badass queen of DC; something she didn't really portray in the WW84 . Aquaman had his little moments of glory and Superman reminded us that no matter which cut, Theatrical or Snyder? He will kick Steppenewolf's ass anytime, anyday.
Speaking of Steppenwolf he did look more of a convincing Villian -even though we know he is afraid of his own nephew (long sigh)-Darkseid, which was another glorious addition to the film.
The movie's tone is the same as always with any Snyder film:
Dark, gloomy and slow motioned which added very much details to the action! I mean seeing Flash move in slow motion definetly got me jumping every time, likeeeeee?!!!

And sound track helped the mood of the movie. Junkie XL did an amazing job with that especially with those battle crys before some Action started. Oh did I mention it's rated R? meaning you might be seeing some Parademons heads flying here and there.

And if the 4hrs are too much to handle the movie is dissected into six parts to help!😃

Baggages!

The downsides to the movie is that there are excesses especially towards the epilogue.
They added stories in which they know might not be fulfilled like the reveal of Martian Manhunter or the Knightmare in which we see a nice face off between Joker and Batman or Deathstroke finding out who batman really is thanks to Lex Luthor and his big mouth sorry for the spoilers 😁. But if Snyder is willing to complete his vision or Warner Bros willing to go ahead then I see no points in all those reveals but oh well,😪 the world of movie production is a strange one.

Finally, all in all: big ups to Snyder for working hard to fulfill his dream and throw some bad things out and for the fans who made it happen. This film will serve as a lesson to all studios who don't let a directors' vision to come to pass!

Y'all go see it, we say it was Great!
