KnowTheReel's top Anticipated Movies Of 2021!

We're 10 days into January already and this list is maybe a little late... But we've taken  time to make this list worth the wait!😃 

Also, numerous movies are made every year so we'll be having two lists... A first part and another one, let's get started!📽️

In First place; UNCHARTED 
                       Release date: July 16

Ever imagined if all the video games you played were made into a movie? Well, Columbia pictures and Atlas entertainments along side Sony pictures have decided to bring you imaginations to life. UNCHARTED, a movie that has been filming for over decade now...began in 2008 with many directors in and out of the project who have also directed very impressive movies, we believe UNCHARTED is worth waiting for and so we await. Right now, an original trailer of UNCHARTED has not been released but we know after so many years of Actors rehearsing and dropping out of the film, Marvel's SPIDERMAN STAR, Tom Holland would be leading the show, more reasons we're anticipating this.

Next; BATMAN: SOUL OF THE DRAGON

          Release date: 26th January 

Did you see the 2019 sequel "HUSH?" If you did you would understand why the Batman series is on this list. DC Universe has proven to worth watching, so naturally we're anticipating this. 

Still on the Batman series "THE LONG HALLOWEEN". this would be in two parts, both to be released in 2021 and as the DC universe Batman series we expect this to be good too, anticipate it too! Also, the actual release dates have not  been announced but we'll be looking forward to update you.

After this, we present to you: BOSS BABY; FAMILY BUSINESS.

                                                Release date: 24th March

Now adults, Theodore and Tim take a magical formula and become babies again...blah!😝 First, imagine them as adults and then babies again🤣🤣

We believe Boss Baby's Family Business would be comedy and lots of fun to watch, hence we anticipate the upcoming movie. Also, this is something the whole family can watch including parents if they wouldn't mind.

Our first for Romance so far would be TO ALL THE BOYS, ALWAYS AND FOREVER, LARA JEAN. To be released on February 12th.

Based on Jenny Han's romance novel, the Overbrook Entertainment and Netflix movie which started in 2018 had a second part in 2020 and now a third part next month. The movie that tells a tale of a teenage girl and her love life, Do you like High school romance? this is certainly for you.

Still on Romance, In the heights is a movie we strongly anticipate, was supposed to be released on June 26, 2020 but has now been rescheduled to June 18 2021.... A musical romance, from the trailer I feel this could be another "The Greatest showman" as this showcases a person who had dreams and slowly climbed to the top.

The Little things : 29th Jan

One of our early bird movies of the year comes in the form of a massive crime thriller which the superb Denzel Washington leads an ensemble cast with Rami Malek and Jared Leto it's sure to be a film with a definite plot twist 

From what we see so it makes a spot on our list

A Quiet place II : March 2

The next chapter to the hit movie hits cinemas this spring and we can't definitely wait for it and that's because of how much the first movie encapsulated a good story , we hope it delivers as sequels tend to be shifty but for now it makes it on the list

Be sure to see a familiar dead character show up no spoilers intended

Kings man: 12 March

If your a fan of the kingsmen installment you will definitely want to watch this . The king's man movie is the direct prequel to the kingsmen movies and it will show the formation of kingsman service 

It has star studded cast with the likes of Ralph Fieness ,Daniel Bruhl and Stanley Tucci. We expect a banger of a movie from the kingsman

Godzilla vs Kong : May 21st

Warner Bros decided that 2021 was going to be the year we get too see the biggest monsters in Hollywood clash in what we expect to be colossal roundup to Legendary pictures Monster verse . As Warner Bros announced it will be available for streaming on HBO Max on the release date so no stressing

And trust when we say it's gonna be a big one , Godzilla vs Kong might be the block buster movie of the year for WB who knows but we trust G vs K is gonna deliver

Up next .... Cruella

Cruella : May 26

For those who don't recognise the name, well let me remind you from the 101 Dalmatians , remember the cruel woman  (no pun intended pls😂🙏) yes that's her the one and only Estelle de vil . Disney decides to show us her origins and how she became Madam Cruella 

Oh and the delightful Emma Stone stars as the titular Character

Cruella is sure to be hit not just because it's Disney but the fact that the story of the movie is going to be a mixup of tales and not just a copy, cut and paste plot we have seen in recent Disney live action movies

So definitely keep your eyes peeled for this one.

Free guy :21st May

I remember seeing the trailer and how much I laughed throughout , and you expect nothing less when you got a guy like Ryan Reynolds on the driving sit of this movie . It was slated to be released last year but due to the Covid we had to wait till 21 May 

So we expect Ryan Reynolds to give 

us a lot of laughs in this one

Jungle Cruise

Dwayne " the rock " Johnson and Emily Blunt Team up to the Live Action film which is based on the Disneyland Ride , yes its based on an Amusement ride but we got no worries , We got Dwayne Johnson and no movie goes wrong with him 

And it's sure to be a movie filled with quirky comments and chilling action scenes so we expect Jungle Cruise to steal the spotlight.
